Colwork Executive Coaches come from a wide variety of backgrounds. What they have in common is years of experience at a high-level within the corporate world. The core requirements are:
NATIVE ENGLISH: Only first-language English speakers are considered.
QUALIFICATIONS: Prestigious English teaching or a coaching qualification, such as CELTA.
EXPERIENCE: You will be either
A mature professional who has held a senior-level role in the corporate world for at least 10 years, such as a lawyer, director, entrepreneur etc.
Someone who can demonstrate a successful track record in coaching executives at senior level for at least 10 years.
Clients are typically senior-level executives who have a B2-C1 level of English (CEFr) and require tailored coaching for their specific needs. Training often consists of a combination of pure language teaching (verb tenses, grammar, pronunciation, error correction etc.) and professional communication skills (giving presentations etc.). Domain expertise in fields including law, engineering and finance, can be an advantage.
